Tyco Electronics has released a new M/A-COM high power switch that operates from .05 to 6.0 GHz for use in Wi-Fi and WiMAX applications. The M/A-COM MASW-000822-12770T is a high-linearity, SPDT switch that will handle over 8 Watts of CW power with insertion loss as low as .35 dB and isolation as high as 26 dB at 3.8 GHz along with IIP3 over 60 dBm.
